Let There Be Drums

Started recording the drum tracks today. Five done and seven to go. Hope to do them tomorrow. I'm not a brilliant drummer and so I'm pretty confident that they'll sound pretty much like the not-very-good-drummer in the Molecules. The drums are on the landing and my PC is in my office so the mike leads have to stretch a long way. I've therefore enlisted the aid of Jilly to do the mixing business. Quite pleased with the results so far.

Love the drums so fortunate to have a professional drummer, Jeff, as the upstairs neighbor. Love when he practices! As he has been with several bands I've heard the sound change & evolve...good stuff & he always throws his latest to me to enjoy. Good luck with your band & hope the recording mixes go well, Roger! Maybe, maybe soon we can listen to you here!

Posting music on to the blog may prove one technical feat too far. I'm still having problems getting a picture on to my profile page. But one day, who knows...

I guess I will have to send out a prayer to the great blog god Jolly roger to see if he can answer.
Have you tried that game where you try and find as many links joining up as possible? Going from one link to another link and so on until you run out of links? Its amazing where it leads to! My record is 7 links so far. i got stuck ona potatoe.
