Lust

The Fat Lady
Does not disguise
Her lust
As the young monk
Walks past

Close your mouth,
Fat Lady

I like this poem A LOT. Fleeting, infinite moment.

Oh, about Captain Beefheart - Safe As Milk is great, isn't it?! I have always favoured the Trout Mask and beyond Beefheart, but Safe As Milk is always nice to return to, even if it's just for a burst of Sure Nuff n Yes I Do!

Personal all time favourites, 'Bat Chain Puller' and 'Moonlight on Vermont'.

Have you heard the 'Legendary A&M Sessions'? Beefheart does West Coast pop! Worth a listen. 'Diddy Wah Diddy' is on there.

Here's a quick poem:

A REAL BLOW

It’s a real blow
to fall
for someone
without
first checking
their
record collection.

Love the poem. It takes one fat lady to appreciate another.

She should get out of those nasty habits!

Beefheart is hero of mine too. I heard he was ill but still painting in the Mojave? desert. Cream are getting back together so why not Beefheart and the magic band? I wouldn't want to pay £150 though!!
