Yes, all my illusions of the south of france were shattered when i lived there in the winter of 1973 - the coldest they had ever seen! We had more snow in Tarn than in Essex!

The locals don't know what to make of it. Our house is in the town, Jill's parents' is in the country, about 8 kilometres away. We're back with jill's folks tonight as, whilst returning home, the car decided it would prefer to spend the night in a snowdrift.
Hope you got your car back Roger. Sounds like a fun! Do you have ski's?
