Poems by Roger Stevens
I'm at a loss as to what a cinquain is. I thought it was a fruit a bit like a clementine.WV is "drati" - a the fisherfolk of the planet Drat.
I love this poem. So simple yet, so clever!!!
A cinquain is a poem devised by an American called Adelaide Crapsey. It's based on a syllable count. the first line has two, then four, then six, then eight and the last line has two.Now don't get all (WV) whincy.
If you are called Adelaide Crapsey then you are allowed a certain ammount of poetic license!
I seeIt's a matterOf finding the right wordsPile them all up like a dung heapAnd Smell!
